Nicole Battle – Owner & Director Stylist
With over 25 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry, I feel incredibly lucky to have built a career doing something I truly love. Hair has always been about more than just creating a beautiful style — it’s about making people feel confident, relaxed and their absolute best.
My vision for Sculpt Hair was to create a space where hair, fashion and relaxation come together; a place where our clients can unwind, enjoy their experience and leave feeling refreshed with hair they love.
Over the years, the success of Sculpt Hair has come from the amazing talent, passion and dedication of my carefully selected team. I’m so proud of the beautiful salon environment we have created and the genuine care our team provides to every client who walks through our doors.
I adore my clients, love connecting with people and feel incredibly grateful to be part of their hair journeys. Hairdressing is such a creative, dynamic and rewarding industry, and I’m excited to continue bringing beautiful hair and exceptional experiences to our Newcastle clients.
Alix – Senior Stylist
Originally from Sydney, Alix brings over 13 years of hairdressing experience to the Sculpt Hair team. She has a passion for creating beautiful, effortless hair and specialises in lived in blondes, balayage, blowouts and event styling.
We’re so excited to have Alix as part of the Sculpt family and can’t wait for you to experience her talent, creativity and warm approach.
Starting her hairdressing journey at Sculpt Hair while still at school, Rylee has grown into a talented stylist with a true passion for creating beautiful hair.
Specialising in wedding hair, event styling and creative looks, Rylee brings experience from working backstage at Victoria’s Fashion Festival and numerous stage shows. Her attention to detail and love for styling make her the perfect choice for clients wanting a beautifully finished look for their special occasion.
Having started her hairdressing journey as an apprentice at Sculpt Hair, Bridget has now been part of our team for over 8 years. She has grown into a talented stylist with a passion for creating beautiful colour and effortless styles.
Bridget specialises in hair colour and styling, with a keen eye for detail and a love for helping clients achieve hair they feel confident and amazing wearing.
Shelby is an Emerging Stylist at Sculpt Hair and is excited to welcome new clients into her chair. She has a passion for creating beautiful, effortless hair and specialises in lived in blondes and bouncy blow dry styling.
Whether it’s a fresh blonde transformation or the perfect style for a night out, Shelby loves creating looks that make her clients feel confident and amazing.

Harpah has just gone into her 3rd year of her apprenticeship at Sculpt Hair and loves learning all aspects of the hairdressing industry. She has a particular passion for creating beautiful, bouncy blowouts and is enjoying developing her skills alongside our experienced team.
With her enthusiasm, creativity and dedication to learning, Harpah is excited to continue growing her confidence and being part of creating beautiful hair experiences for our clients.
Taya is a Senior Stylist with over 15 years’ experience and a true passion for curly hair. She specialises in working with natural texture, creating beautiful, wearable cuts and styles that enhance each client’s unique curl pattern. Taya also loves creating personalised colour transformations and helping her clients feel confident in their hair.
Mel is our Salon Coordinator and the friendly face that keeps everything running smoothly at Sculpt. With a background as a hairdresser, Mel brings a wealth of industry knowledge and understands exactly what it takes to create an exceptional salon experience. From welcoming guests to assisting our team behind the scenes, Mel is dedicated to ensuring every visit is relaxed, seamless and enjoyable.
Lauren is our First Year Apprentice and is loving every minute of her hairdressing journey. She is passionate about learning all aspects of the industry, with a particular love for creating beautiful, bouncy blowouts. Lauren’s friendly nature and enthusiasm make her a lovely addition to the Sculpt team.
